Tessa Gillings (maiden name Eastoe) graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. She has had extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, specialising in complex neck and back pain.
Tessa has worked along the Northern Beaches for over 10 years where she is well loved and respected by all her patients with having the reputation of being the “princess of pain”.
Tessa has always had a love for all sports and represented her state in netball, swimming, basketball, AFL, oztag and touch. She combines her love of sport and passion of biomechanics to treat, assess and prevent many sports related injuries. She has worked closely with elite athletes including being the international touring physiotherapist for Nitro Circus.
Tessa has extensive training in teaching and instructing clinical pilates where she strongly believes
“deep” stabilisation is the key to achieving better movement, function and overall quality of life.
Tessa is a mother of two beautiful babies and loves exploring her Northern Beaches surrounding with her young family. You can often find her and her family on coastal walks, swimming at the beach or on a pilates reformer!
